CADILLAC FAIRVIEW’S NEW SMOKE-FREE ENTRANCEWAY INITIATIVE
With an industry reputation for taking a leadership position in developing and implementing socially conscious programs, Cadillac Fairview is pleased to introduce our New Smoke-Free Entranceway Initiative.

Nine of Cadillac Fairview’s premiere properties including Regent Mall are participating in the program, which takes effect on September 8, 2009. The SMOKE FREE ENTRANCEWAY Initiative is aimed at keeping access to and from Cadillac Fairview shopping centres and office buildings free from second-hand smoke. On the above mentioned date a nine (9) metre perimeter from all building entrances will be established (excludes restaurant patios where legislation/leases permit).
As the owner and manager of best in class shopping centre and office buildings, Cadillac Fairview is committed to providing its employees, tenants and customers with a healthy and welcoming experience when visiting the Centre.
While we firmly believe that a person is free to smoke if they choose; we also believe this activity should not infringe on the rights of non-smoking guests, employees and tenants. From September 8th, we are respectfully requesting that those who smoke do so nine (9) metres from building entrances.
