Summary of Role:

Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager is accountable for the management of all aspects of their store while realizing the Laura Secord vision. This role will build, coach and lead a team that delivers a high level of customer service to drive sales, and maintain a well merchandized and presentable store.

Major Duties:

  • Maximizes opportunities to increase sales and profitability
  • Networks, recruits, and hires quality employees
  • Delivers ongoing coaching and training to all store employees
  • Maintains clear professional communication with team and management
  • Effectively plans, executes and delegates day to day responsibilities
  • Merchandizes to maximize sales
  • Implements and maintains merchandising guidelines and standards
  • Complies with company policy and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and to achieve Store objectives
  • Delivers and supports the company objectives and initiatives

Education/Experience:

  • Previous Sales & Customer Service Experience
  • 3-5 years Retail Management Experience
